Snow Reports

Killington:
11:00 am 02/28/14--An inch here, an inch there; that's all the snow The Beast needs to stay awesome. You can find those inches blown in among the moguls, drifted along the sides of trails, in secret gladed stashes, and even tilled into the fresh corduroy on Friday's 69 groomed trails. The forecast is for sunny skies and crisp air, so make sure your weekend plans include skiing and riding at Killington.

MT Snow:
Not a cloud in the sky, powder stashes, plenty of corduroy and a massive amount of snow, what a great way to end February. Speaking of our snowiest month, we’ve graciously received 72″ of snow. That’s 6 feet! It’s also the most snow we have ever gotten in February. According to the historic snowfall, we got 97 inches in March 2001… I wonder what will this spring will bring?
For starters, plan on cruising down 72 TRAILS/, spanning 575 ACRES of skiable terrain across all four mountain faces. Our top notch groomers will be out overnight laying down corduroy so be sure to check out the trail report in the morning for the complete list of groomers. Over at Carinthia we have 8 PARKS open loaded with features. Today and tomorrow the last five features in The Gulch will be closed for the Eastern Freestyle State Championships but the upper section will be open with a public lane skier’s right of the course.
Tomorrow is forecasted to be warmer than today with temps predicted to reach 21 degrees up top and 27 degrees down at the base area. Expect mostly cloudy skies with a chance of flurries in the afternoon. Wind will be moving in at 10 to 40 mph from the Southwest.
